摘要: In skeletal muscle fibers, the excitation-contraction-relaxation cycle is a highly evolved process that mediated by contractile proteins - myosin and actin regulatory elements - troponin tropomyosin. Contractile fibers exhibit enormous complexity heterogeneity on molecular level, which reflected diversity of protein isoforms constitute actomyosin apparatus. The main components apparatus exist in high abundance are relatively soluble, making them ideal candidates for systematic analysis liquid chromatography or gel electrophoresis-based proteomics. This review discusses proteomic profiling adapting, degenerating aging tissues. identification altered may be useful establishment biomarker signatures can applied examination physiological adaptability, cellular plasticity pathological susceptibility neuromuscular system.
