摘要: To investigate the effect of electronic visual aids (EVA) combined with perceptual learning (PL) for improvement in acuity moderate to severe visually impaired and blind children. Twenty-eight 6- 14-year-old children (19 boys 9 girls) were divided into two groups: PL under assistance EVA (Group A, 14 children) simple without B, children). The content was search inversed “E” crowding strings connected lines, 30 minutes a day 6 months. can provide 5–10 times magnification on 4.3-inch screen. Uncorrected distance (UCVA), best-corrected (BCVA), near (NVA) refractive error evaluated before 3 6 months after training. Baseline UCVA, BCVA or NVA comparable between groups. Three months training, improved significantly Group A (p < 0.05). At end UCVA continued progressing compared 3 months (p = 0.01, 0.02), but did not show significant B during same time, except that at first follow-up. Refractive had no change post-training both Visually benefit more from combination than PL, accompanied myopic shift. It may new method treatment rehabilitation
