摘要: Abstract The present study aims to investigate the opportunity largely substitute natural aggregates of traditional concrete with Black/Oxidizing Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) slag. Compressive and tensile strength, elastic modulus durability characteristics (accelerated aging, freezing thawing, wetting drying) containing EAF slag as aggregate according Fuller’s ideal grading curve were experimentally investigated. This improve scarce database mechanical tests on this type give some insights properties made slag, not only using modern agents additives, but also working actual used, closely connected overall for any kind concrete. Concrete showed good strength since, in normal environmental conditions, conglomerate are totally comparable (or even better) than those observed Conversely, typical chemical physical such high content calcium magnesium oxides inclined hydration, may be a limit resulting concrete: one hand can strongly improved critical freezing/thawing conditions by small amount air-entraining agent, other hand, still remains rather vulnerable repeated cycles drying.
