摘要: Temperature is an important determinant of bacterial growth. While the dependence growth on different temperatures has been well studied for many species, prediction rate dynamic temperature changes relatively unclear. Here, authors address this issue using a combination experimental measurements growth, at resolution 5 min, Escherichia coli and mathematical models. They measure curves estimate model parameters to predict profiles subject changes. compared these predicted various step-like with coefficient determination mean square error based comparison, ranked models, finding that generalised logistic gave smallest error. note as maximum specific increases duration predominantly decreases. These results provide basis compute parameter in biomolecular circuits may be useful designing are robust temperature.
