摘要: The green alga Scenedesmus obliquus contains a multilayered cell wall, ultrastructurally similar to that of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, although its proportion hydroxyproline is considerably lower. Therefore, we have investigated the polypeptide composition insoluble and chaotrope-soluble wall fractions S. obliquus. pattern fraction was strongly modified by chemical deglycosylation with anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (HF) in pyridine indicating most these polypeptides are glycosylated. Polypeptide constituents cell-wall apparent molecular masses 240, 270, 265, 135 kDa cross-reacted polyclonal antibody raised against 100 product C. reinhardtii glycoprotein GP3B. Chemical resulted major 106 minor component reacting same antibody. This recognized specific peptide epitopes When treated HF/pyridine, three 144, 135, 65 were solubilized, which also occured deglycosylated fraction. These findings indicate theses glycoproteins cross-linked via HF-sensitive bonds.
