摘要: Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a non-invasive method used to evaluate the retina and optic nerve. Since its inception, OCT has become valuable adjunct clinical examination in neuro-ophthalmology. In this article we review some of more common uses for OCT, including differentiating nerve pathology from retinal pathology, following swelling and/or atrophy over time. Clinical examples are provided show utility both neuro-ophthalmology general ophthalmology practice.
