摘要: We evaluated a new method of computer-based scanning skin prick test wheal areas. To the calibration program, we scanned five constructed circles exactly defined areas between 5 and 255 mm 2 . One these was in different degrees contrast (modes), middle mode being used other experiments. also investigated inter- intraoperator variation. Finally, results obtained by measuring diameters wheals area determination were compared for 82 histamine 75 egg wheals. The found agreed well with real (P<0.01) (mean 97.4-100.8%), except smallest (5 ) (NS).
