摘要: Abstract The Hyperspectral Infrared Imager (HyspIRI) mission is proposed to be the first satellite system with capability provide global, repeat coverage across visible and shortwave infrared spectrum, as well eight channels in midwave thermal infrared. HyspIRI has stated objectives address a host of pressing earth science questions, from radiation budgets ecosystem functions. A sizable community grown support mission, their ongoing research demonstrates HyspIRI's potential greatly expand our knowledge system. This special issue features collection papers, some reviews others novel science, that cover wide array topics relevant reaffirm necessity for HyspIRI.
