摘要: Inflammation plays an important role in the development and progression of many forms cancer, including colorectal cancer (CRC). Several lines evidence support a major for inflammatory background CRC: (1) bowel disease patients have higher risk developing CRC; (2) regular use non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g., aspirin) prevents CRC cancer-free promotes regression established cancers; (3) even CRCs that do not develop under conditions are strongly infiltrated with multiple types pro-tumorigenic immune cells. In this chapter, association between chronic inflammation is reviewed molecular mechanisms leading to tumor summarized. addition, contributions distinct cell populations discussed.
