摘要: Inflammation plays an important role in the development and progression of many forms cancer, including colorectal cancer (CRC). Several lines evidence support a major for inflammatory background CRC: (1) bowel disease patients have higher risk developing CRC; (2) regular use non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g., aspirin) prevents CRC cancer-free promotes regression established cancers; (3) even CRCs that do not develop under conditions are strongly infiltrated with multiple types pro-tumorigenic immune cells. In this chapter, association between chronic inflammation is reviewed molecular mechanisms leading to tumor summarized. addition, contributions distinct cell populations discussed. Finally, implications these associations prevention treatment highlighted.
