摘要: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and specific inhibitors of cyclooxygenase (COX)-2, are therapeutic groups widely used for the treatment pain, inflammation fever. There is growing experimental clinical evidence indicating NSAIDs COX-2 also have anti-cancer activity. Epidemiological studies shown that regular use Aspirin other reduces risk developing cancer, in particular colon. Molecular pathology revealed expressed by cancer cells tumor stroma during progression response to chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Experimental demonstrated over expression promotes tumorigenesis, suppress tumorigenesis progression. Clinical trials colon polyp formation malignant patients with familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) syndrome. Recent advances understanding cellular molecular mechanisms effects these target both vasculature. The benefits human combination radiotherapy currently being tested trials. In this article we will review recent anti-tumor discuss their potential application oncology.
