摘要: Centrins are members of a highly conserved subgroup the EF-hand superfamily Ca 2+ -binding proteins commonly associated with centrosome-related structures. In retina, centrins also prominent components photoreceptor cell ciliary apparatus. Centrin isoforms diVerentially localized at basal body and in lumen connecting cilium. All molecular exchanges between inner outer segments occur through this narrow -activated centrin bind to visual heterotrimeric G-protein transducin via an interaction -subunit. -dependent assemblies centrin/G-protein complexes may regulate
