摘要: Prior studies at Purdue University have shown that PTO entanglements occur most frequently on portable grain augers. A research project was conducted to measure operator exposure components and document work patterns during the use of grain augers. Information methodologies used measure operator is presented along with data conventional augers while unloading from trucks and wagons, extended dump hopper augers, swing-away It found that operators had a higher time operating when driveline was located right side auger, as one stands facing end auger, than left auger using trucks. It determined this added due position driver’s door the truck, natural path driver operator’s seat rear truck, the movement truck body into workspace tilted. Of all scenarios examined, operators highest and gravity-flow wagons. Operators no recorded operating swing-away Recommendations were made based observations this study for reducing through increased awareness hazards and reconfiguration way are incorporated handling operations.
