摘要: Earlier concepts of the neuroendocrine system integrated regulatory functions nervous and endocrine systems, a concept that was developed from understanding hypothalamic control over secretions anterior pituitary gland its target organs. Demonstration feedback controls, chiefly negative, furthered argument for an intimate relationship between systems. However, role hormones, all which are peptides, is not restricted to their classical actions but extends profound effects on CNS. Experiments showing adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) affects complex behavioral processes such as learning memory in adrenalectomized rats, demonstrated clearly this peptide acting directly CNS neurons, bypassing target, adrenal cortex. This direct action extended humans, well peripheral neuromuscular through use synthetic fragments ACTH devoid adrenocortical-stimulating activity [1-4] (see sections 5.1.2 5.4).
