摘要: Spatio-temporal stress changes and interactions between adjacent fault segments consist of the most important component in seismic hazard assessment, as they can alter occurrence probability strong earthquake onto these segments. The investigation areas by means linked release model is attempted for moderate earthquakes (M ≥ 5.2) Corinth Gulf Central Ionian Islands (Greece). study were divided two subareas, based on seismotectonic criteria. seismicity each subarea investigated a stochastic point process its behavior determined conditional intensity function, which usually gets an exponential form. A function Weibull form used identifying appropriate among models (simple, independent model) interpretation generation process. appropriateness was decided after evaluation via Akaike information criterion. Despite fact that curves functions exhibit similar behavior, use exponential-type seems to fit better data.
