摘要: Seventeen samples from the Malenco serpentinite in Swiss Alps, representing systematic prograde metamorphic conditions prehnite-pumpellyite to upper amphibolite, are moderately strongly magnetic (average susceptibility of 6.61×10−2 SI units) due predominantly presence a magnetite-rich spinel. Some greenschist facies contain metal alloy awaruite (Ni3Fe); these addition much greater amounts magnetite. Small pyrrhotite about half complete contributions total magnetization. Susceptibilities generally decrease with increasing grade because production chromerich spinel which dilutes magnetite component. These results indicate that significant anomalies should be generated suture zones containing metamorphosed and areas where is being actively subducted.
