摘要: Geopathological studies on endemic Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) and African Burkitt's lymphoma (BL) in western Kenya were performed, revealed that KS BL had relatively same geographical ethnical distribution. The region of stands almost exactly astride the equator. It accounts for one third whole country area about half population. Western is composed three provinces; Nyanza Province, Province Rift Valley Province. Out 25, 343 surgical pathological specimens at provincial hospitals Nyanza, 8 years during 1979 to 1986, 124 135 cases histologically diagnosed as respectively. Frequency all malignant tumors was 2.92% 3.18% (BL). high incidence found between age 50 59, while under 22 years. male female ratio 8.4 : 1.0 1.2 BL. per 100, 000 population each province follows a) 2.12 3.54 b) 1.80 1.20 c) 1.11 0.68 are tropical savannah areas, whereas a highland. among main ethnic groups Luo, inhabitants around Lake Victoria, showed highest (2.56) (4.35), followed by Luhya, Kalenjin, highland Kisii, Luo descended from Nilotic Luhya belong Bantu. No case only few desert or semi-desert areas. other above mentioned characteristics. coincidence more clear child than adult. These results suggest there based etiological cofactors including temperature, humidity, unknown transmissible agents, probably genetic factors life styles. This mainly demonstrated Victoria Kenya.
