摘要: In this review of Burkitt’s lymphoma, we discuss recent clinical and pathological advances in the understanding unique malignancy. lymphoma (BL) has been subject intense investigation ever since classic description 1958 (18). The lively interest stems from cliraatological geographical distribution which had suggested a mosquito-vectored virus as etiologic agent (20,21,49). subsequent discovery Epstein-Barr (EBV) cultured BL cells gave credence to view (38). Virologists continue study herpesvirus model for viral-induced oncogenesis (23,39,66,145). Second, exquisite sensitivity tumor chemotherapy potential cure. This plus pioneering work regarding acute lymphocytic leukemias by prominent pathologist, Sidney Farber, provided impetus modern programs. Finally, is its histopathologic, immunologic, cytogenetic attributes. surface markers studies have demonstrated arrested lymphocyte differentiation. Other cancers are viewed also context blocked autogeny.
