摘要: 1 Recent work on the toxicology of chloramphenicol suggests that its propensity to cause damage blood forming organs may be related potential for nitro-reduction and subsequent production nitric oxide.2 In this study both aerobic anaerobic by human foetal neonatal liver results in amine derivative. However intermediates reaction nitroso-or glutathionesulphinamido-chloramphenicol could not detected hplc.3 Perfusion through isolated lobules placentae caused a decrease pressure at time which coincided with peak oxide production. However, although drop reversed an inhibitor synthetase, profile remained same.4 These observations suggest involvement para-nitro group hemotoxicity hypotension susceptible individuals.
