摘要: The hormonal requirements for the regulation of major urinary protein (MUP) mRNA levels in mouse liver have been examined. Previous experiments shown that administration testosterone to female or castrated male mice increases MUP approximately fivefold normal levels. We found thyroxine and peptide hormone, growth each had a pronounced effect on was reduced 150-fold growth-hormone-deficient mutant (little). hormone induced 150-fold, when administered together, they 1,000-fold. administration. When separately these mice, with Testicular feminized which lack functional receptor protein, can also be by treatment both thyroxine. In addition, we present evidence indicates thyroxine, differentially regulate distinct species.
