摘要: Abstract Purpose To evaluate the psychosocial burden of adolescents with diabetes, determine trajectory burden, and examine interdependent relationships between glycemic control across first 6 years diabetes. Methods Data from SEARCH for Diabetes in Youth, an observational study U.S. children diagnosed diabetes before age 20, were collected during visits conducted at baseline then 12, 24, 60 months after baseline. Blood was drawn, clinical demographic information collected, evaluated using standardized depression generic diabetes-specific health-related quality life (QOL) surveys. Results Among 1,307 (mean age, 14.1±2.5 years) data, 1,026 had type 1 281 2 For those a 60-month follow-up visit, glycated hemoglobin (A 1c ) values rose 1.5% (type 1, 7.7%–9.3% 2, 7.3%–8.8%).
