摘要: We discuss the use of Born and Markov approximations in describing dynamics an atom laser. In particular, we investigate applicability quantum optical Born-Markov master equation for output coupling. derive conditions based on atomic reservoir, dispersion relations when are valid parameter regimes where these fail our laser model. Differences between standard model due to a combination factors, including which typical would operate, different reservoir state is appropriate atoms, atoms photons. present results exact method approximation fails. The solutions some experimentally relavent give non-exponential loss from cavity.
