摘要: This paper forecasts the level of voltage total harmonic distortion (VTHD) for a typical customer during next two decades. The study is based on growth projection residential, commercial and industrial loads acceptance new technologies such as adjustable speed drives (ASDs) electronic ballasts. forecast was generated service areas above utilities applied to three real-life, 13.8 kV feeders. power flow determined each feeder under assumption different levels current distortions types nonlinear loads. It found that short feeders, 5 mi. rate increase VTHD could be low 0.01%/year without parallel resonances or high 0.35%/year in sensitive systems. >
