摘要: This article empirically analyses the provenance, application and abandonment of Project Champion, a scheme designed to encircle two Birmingham neighbourhoods with surveillance cameras. Locating analysis within anticipatory turn in social control practices, particular emphasis is placed on how collapsing distinctions between internal external security draw multiple new actors agencies into despatch counterterrorism. The argues that topological approaches informed by Foucauldian notions “security” allow for better understanding these heterogeneous techniques configurations practice. represent move beyond territorial management circulations, where subjects are left situ, but their mobilities monitored, delineated assessed.
