摘要: In this article, we consider the implications of ‘Prevent’ strand government’s counter-terrorism strategy for UK state’s engagement with Muslims. We argue that logics Prevent have been highly problematic state–Muslim engagement. Nevertheless, suggest characterisation state approaches to engaging Muslims as a form discipline is incomplete without an analysis of: first, differences in practices, habits and perspectives across governance domains; second, variations approach implementation between levels governance; third, agency who engage state. Through show how attention situated practices reveals contested nature governing through Prevent.
