摘要: Evidence suggests that the gut microbiome represents a target for new therapeutic interventions disorders of gut-brain axis. The concept microbiome-gut-brain axis has gained considerable traction. Although several diseases and may reflect disruption of, or dysfunction along, axis, this chapter will focus on one very common challenging disorder long perceived as representing along axis: irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). That be relevant to genesis symptoms in IBS is supported by clinical experimental observations. Various strategies have been used IBS: diet, probiotics, prebiotics, antibiotics. With regard although volume data attests their ability address various pathophysiologic parameters appear IBS, quality less impressive higher trials are needed.
