摘要: An increased risk of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) has been linked with obesity and metabolic syndrome. However, the mechanisms by which lipid disorders affect development RCC remain unclear highly controversial. Integrin-linked kinase (ILK) is a serine/threonine protein involved in regulation tumor growth angiogenesis. In present study, effect free fatty acids promotion progression was investigated upregulating ILK. Results MTT assay indicated that treatment 786-O cells oleic acid induced concentration-dependent increase viability. Flow cytometry analysis revealed on apoptosis not significant. Following acid, expression ILK, phospho-Akt G protein-coupled receptor 40 (GPR40) cells. These effects were reversed when ILK downregulated using specific small interfering RNA. results indicate are associated via activation GPR40/ILK/Akt pathway, revealing novel mechanism for correlation between disturbance carcinoma.
