摘要: Yeast mitochondrial (mt) genetics started with the identification of ‘petite’ mutations Saccharomyces cerevisiae in 1949, and were extended to various other yeasts (Clark-Walker 1999, for review). Mt mutants Schizosaccharomyces pombe isolated thoroughly characterized 1970s (Lang et al. 1983; Wolf 1987; Del Giudice 1988, reviews early references). The mt either simple base changes or small deletions — addition nuclear impaired functions.
