摘要: Abstract The rates of metabolism synthetic gestagens derived from 19-nortestosterone by rabbit liver tissue in vitro were compared. Over a period 1 h norethisterone was metabolised as rapidly whereas d -norgestrel and lynestrenol at slightly lower rate. Less than 5% l metabolised. In all cases the reaction product tetrahydrosteroid. Lynestrenol through norethisterone. Skeletal muscle, lung small intestine also but slower rate tissue. Small amounts adipose heart spleen inactive. not any extra-hepatic tissues studied.
