摘要: In a multihop MANET (mobile ad-hoc network), reliable broadcast support at the MAC layer will be of great benefit to routing function, multicasting applications, cluster maintenance, and real-time systems. this paper, we propose new hybrid protocol, called adaptive location-aware (ALAB) for link-level in multichannel ALAB is scalable mobility-transparent since it does not require any link state information. Above all, ALAB, both deadlock hidden terminal problems are completely solved. principle, tries combine advantages allocation- contention-based protocols overcomes their individual drawbacks. At high traffic or density, outperforms pure TDMA because spatial reuse dynamic slot management. low CSMA/CA its embedded stable tree-splitting algorithms. addition, provides deterministic access delay bounds from base allocation protocol. Simulation results do confirm advantage our scheme over other protocols, such as IEEE 802.11, ADAPT, ABROAD, even under fixed-total-bandwidth model.
