摘要: Abstract Two distinct forms of carbon, ultra nanocrystalline diamond (UNCD) and carbon nanotubes (CNTs), were synthesized in a single-step process via hot filament chemical vapor deposition for the first time. The structure displays unique hierarchical flower-like clusters vertically aligned with diameters ranging from 30 to 50 nm conformally coated UNCD having grain size range 3–5 nm. seeding employed mixture nickel nano powders dispersed polymer melt, which promoted self-assembly sp 2 3 into structures. decorated tubes show good field emission properties low turn-on field, large enhancement factor, an excellent current stability over period 400 h. ability synthesize flower like structures CNTs by opens up new possibilities fabrication robust nanoelectronic devices.
