摘要: Perception of gaze direction can be influenced not only by visual input but also extraretinal information from eye and neck muscle proprioception. Vibration muscles with the head fixed is known to induce a illusory movement fixated object. A study effects proprioception on position vergence movements has been done before. Aims this are investigate: 1) during steady fixation; 2) dynamics accommodative driven dominant non-dominant eye; 3) effect movements, each eye. Subjects sat chair one covered. was applied three groups muscles, two which turn horizontally third group extend when contract. Accommodative stimulation presented bar LEDs lit in sequence. Eye were measured an infrared system (Ober-2) conditions: 1). alone; 2). alone monocular viewing 3). horizontally, combination stimulation. Neck vibration fixation target could changes related directions vibrated. During alone, different depending whether or driving accommodation. The gain higher fixating. shortened time constant square wave Extraretinal signals proprioceptions influence static position, vergence.
