Pseudohypoparathyroidism Type II: Restoration of Normal Renal Responsiveness to Parathyroid Hormone by Calcium Administration

摘要: ABSTRACT A patient with the clinical features of pseudohypoparathyroidism and skeletal resistance to parathyroid hormone is described. The renal defect was similar that previously reported in Pseudohypoparathyroidism Type II, e.g., increase urinary excretion cyclic AMP response administration but no rise phosphate. Further studies demonstrated could be restoredto normal by calcium or without elevated levels endogenous immunoreactive hormone. II may related abnormal permeability tubular cells AMP.
