摘要: Background: Neonatal lupus erythematosus (NLE) is a transient autoimmune disease of developing fetus and neonate in mothers with systemic (SLE). In this report we introduce an infant NLE whose mother had rheumatoid arthritis. Case Presentation: Our case was 40 day old male discoid-like annular skin lesions over forehead neck, irritability low grade fever. There history prematurity due to preeclampsia. no cytopenia or cardiac involvement but liver enzymes were more than 5-fold increased. FANA, Anti Ro La negative. Without any treatment during months, mucosal gradually disappeared without scar reached normal level. After 6 months follow up, he symptom free growth development. Conclusion: We recommend check anti SSA/Ro SSB/La antibodies all pregnant women connective tissue diseases prevent life-threatening infant.
