摘要: In the European Alps, concept of risk has increasingly been applied in order to reduce susceptibility society mountain hazards. Risk is defined as a function magnitude and frequency hazard process times consequences; latter being quantified by value elements at exposed their vulnerability. Vulnerability degree loss given element resulting from impact natural hazard. Recent empirical studies suggested dependency on impact, respective vulnerability (or damage-loss) functions were developed. However, until now, only little information available spatial characteristics local scale; considerable ranges ratio for medium intensities provide hint that there might be mutual reasons lower or higher rates. this paper, we therefore focus dimension searching clusters damage exposed. By using software SaTScan, an ordinal data model normal detect distribution patterns five individual torrent events Austria. For both models, detected some significant high ratios, consequently Moreover, secondary low values found. Based our results, assumption result vulnerability, vice versa, partly rejected. The not dependent but also overall land use pattern constructive buildings Generally, suggest test sites exceeding minimum 30 As such, study enhanced understanding scale.
