摘要: Abstract The aim of this study was to analyse both the essential oil (EO) content and quality changes two Czech Lavandula angustifolia Mill. varieties, ‘Krajova’ ‘Beta’, in period between harvesting chemical analysis. An eight-year experiment proved that during long-term storage dried flowers a gradual reduction total EO occurs at rate about 0.007% per day, which means 2.56% year. linalool, terpinen-4-ol, lavandulol, linalyl acetate, α-terpineol, lavandulyl acetate varied varieties. In case value correlation coefficient showed decreasing tendency linalool. ‘Beta’ variety loss rates for terpinen-4-ol were found. This can be partly explained by disappearance but also degradation rearrangement into other compounds, such as lavandulool, whose increased. residual moisture air-dried plant material room temperature are sufficient compounds storage. Only differences varieties tested growing seasons terms composition statistically proven, although it assumed determinations would significant longer-term monitoring. No relationship initial its
