摘要: Among Mahseers, Indus Mahseer Tor macrolepis is the important game and food fish of Pakistan. The meristic morphometric data this lacking for species present in For study, one year sampling was conducted at various sites Attock district adjoining areas from 2008 to 2009. purpose, Haro River divided into four zones: each a distance 10 km, July June 2009 region, Fifth zone selected Hasan Abdaal, A total 118 specimens were collected these five zones more than forty parameters study. Collected samples ranged 12.32- 15.86 length (TL), 11.05-14.21 fork (FL) 9.68-12.4 standard (SL). In fish, gill rakers counted as 2-3/11-13, rostral barbel (RBL) found slightly shorter maxillary (MBL), no distinct stripes or spots on body, eyes ventral view head terminal mouth observed. High level significant relationships observed with (TL) (HL) when compared all other studied. Present study will help taxonomists fisheries scientists distinguish T. species. © 2011 Friends Science Publishers
