摘要: Caged freshwater zebra mussels (Dreissena polymorpha) were transplanted for one month to two sites in the lower river Po, northern Italy. Trace metals accumulated tissues determined after 15, 30 and (1 station only) 60 days, also expressed as metal body burdens. Metals Po water samples. No significant differences accumulation mussel observed between sites. Cd Pb concentrations increased from 1.23 3.22 3.40 5.93 μg/g dry weight respectively at site same trend was second site, indicating that these accumulated. Cu Zn did not change relative time zero concentrations. The highest Cr Ni levels found 15 days both stations (10 27 respectively). Low relatively constant Hg (<0.10 weight) native molluscs (D polymorpha Unio elongatulus). Concentration factors calculated all trace elements assayed, ranged 103 (Pb) 104 (Zn).
