摘要: Specimens of mussels species Anodonta anatina, Unio pictorum, U. tumidus and surfical sediment samples were collected in the summers 1994 1995 from twelve lakes Danube Delta, Romania. Whole mussel tissues analyzed for metals (Ag, As, Cd, Co, Cu, Cr, Ni, Pb, Se Zn), subjected to weak acid extraction a sequential procedure, Ni Zn. Total mean Cu Ag concentrations statistically greater than species, but other metal levels did not significantly differ between species. There was ten fold variation Cd Pb five Zn, Co among lakes. Mean Zn varied two negatively correlated with distance gradients origin Delta main channels Danube. Other correlate either gradient. Trace those extractions sediment. carbonate fraction best predictor mussels. organic matter sulfide estimators
