摘要: Colorectal cancer is a major cause of cancer-related mortality. Most colorectal cancers arise in precursor lesions over number years. The carcinogenetic pathway modulated by wide array genetic and epigenetic factors. Two approaches to halting carcinogenesis are chemoprevention early detection. Chemoprevention an attractive emerging option—advances understanding the pathways progress evaluating various putative agents promising. However, several issues regarding efficacy, safety, acceptability require answers before ideal agent can come into widespread use. Early detection removal show promise reducing disease burden. Although concept has been around widely advocated for years, participation screening remains low. test terms practicality, accuracy, safety still debated. This article reviews recent literature related cancer.
