摘要: Abstract Cast films based on polypropylene (PP) blended with commercial maleic anhydride or acrylic acid grafted (PP-g-MA and PP-g-MA) at different weight ratios were prepared by melt extrusion. These used to produce hydrophilic microporous membranes. The membranes annealing elevated temperatures followed cold hot stretching, respectively. DSC, FTIR SAXS analyses showed that the addition of modifiers changed crystalline lamellar structure and, consequently, membrane morphology. Membrane morphology observations using SEM smaller pore size lower number pores as modifier content increased. Porosity dimensions also measured mercury porosimetry their results confirmed observations. Oxygen precursor film surface was analyzed XPS. Water vapor permeability increased significantly low concentrations modifiers, compared neat PP. This attributed presence sufficient concentration polar groups a minimal change in structure. Finally, tensile properties machine directions (MD) well puncture resistance precursors normal direction (ND) evaluated.
