Investigating the factors affecting readiness for lean system adoption within Kuwaiti small and medium-sized manufacturing industries

摘要: The central belief in lean systems (LS) is that the implementation of practices will reduce different type wastes. However, LS implemented without an evaluation organisational readiness may lead to failure. In this study, a measurement framework evaluate (LR) and within Kuwaiti small medium-sized manufacturing industries (K-SMMIs) has been developed. This encompasses quality management related (processes; planning control; human resources (HR); top leadership; customer relations; supplier relations) assess K-SMMIs determine whether they have foundation implement LS.
