摘要: Nitric oxide (NO) plays a key role in mediating macrophage cytotoxicity towards different targets, including tumoral cells and intracellular pathogens. However, its immunoregulation is less well defined. In this study, we have investigated the effect of altering NO levels on production by mouse macrophages cytokines, reactive oxygen intermediates as measured luminol-dependent chemiluminescence. Our results demonstrate that can enhance release both tumor necrosis factor-alpha interleukin-1 alpha, Thus, addition to acting powerful effector molecule cytotoxic activities macrophages, play enhancing variety other inflammatory mediators, thus contribute directly indirectly immunopathology macrophage-dependent inflammation.
