摘要: Although retroviruses have been associated with serious disease in the animal kingdom, their economic impact has by and large not sufficiently great as to merit industrial or government initiatives for development of vaccines therapeutics. Thus, despite need a vaccine against bovine leukemia, eradication programs infected animals were judged be more practical. In fact, only commercial activity is feline leukemia virus. Lacking such driving force, research retroviral antivirals developed slowly was largely overshadowed attention models onco-genesis gene regulation. However, discovery human retroviruses, especially immunodeficiency virus (HIV), what once remote areas interest risen become some salient challenges our time biomedical science struggles find means control acquired syndrome (AIDS) pandemic. Consequently, number efforts since HIV discovered greatly overshadows had accomplished previously retroviruses. To this one must also add observation that clinical evaluation pro-grams are now juxtaposed research, adding dimensions within scope earlier work
