摘要: Abstract The use of Multinomial Logit (MNL) models specification for the simulation residential location have been often criticised due to Independence Irrelevant Alternatives hypothesis (IIA) which does not allow existence spatial correlation between zones. Moreover, it is clear when and what extent influence workplace zone accessibility employment affect choices made by households; in other word, whether residing choice conditional workplace, or vice versa; if such (residence work place) are joint. In this paper, Nested (NL) Cross-Nested specified compared MNL, investigate different locations. Furthermore, assumptions tested, considering joint place zone. were estimated urban area Santander (Spain). results indicate that inclusion model specification, zones fit data significantly better. Home-work journey times a statistically significant factor household choice, whereas had correct sign but was significant.
