摘要: The breeding of new sweet potato varieties is a highly inefficient process, confounded by incompatibility, poor fertility, open-pollination and hexaploidy. Upwards 12–20 lines are combined in open pollinated nurseries based on horticulturally important characteristics. After several years selection most progeny can be traced back to just 3 or 4 maternal lines. A method that would identify the paternal parent superior enable breeders combine parents exhibit combining ability more efficient, smaller nurseries. objective this work explore means computer simulation application genealogy reconstruction techniques hexaploid individuals co-dominant marker data. obtained from each female categorically assigned male with non-zero exclusion probability its paternity likelihood. Computer simulations show even polysomic segregation types, it possible discriminate between putative few errors mis-assignments. number loci scored for 10 population should not less than 20 case alleles per locus, no five allele model. An increment increases discriminatory power yielding far effect loci. This study also demonstrates feasibility using determine minimum requirements, i.e. genotyped, unambiguous parentage allocation polyploids.
