摘要: Summary We describe a case of canine thymoma in an 11-year-old pure-bred female Spanish Mastiff. On postmortem examination big mass was found the thoracic cavity. Histologically neoplastic parenchyma showed great structural variability; principal findings included presence tumour cells forming cords or sheets, cystic formations, Hassall-corpuscle like squamous and small intermediate calibre vessels encircled by areas with eosinophilic material lymphocytes. In order to determine histogenesis thymic neoplasia we used immunohistochemical techniques specific for different markers: cytokeratins, vimentin, desmin neuron enolase. A strong positive immunoreaction rumour wide spectrum cytokeratins confirmed epithelial origin neoplasia.
