摘要: Abstract Alternative metal phthalocyanine (m-Pc) donors employed in mixed layer organic solar cells (OSCs) are shown to have impressive photovoltaic parameters when compared the traditional and well-studied copper (CuPc) zinc (ZnPc) donors. In this work, we employ a OSC with substantially different donor-to-acceptor mixing ratios study wide set of m-Pc The thus studied consideration their intrinsic physical properties, such as valency central moiety molecular energy levels. non-traditional better suited Schottky OSCs high acceptor content, allowing for improvements all major parameters. contrast, suffer from unavoidable charge accumulation recombination effects device architecture, instead optimized standard 1-to-1 bulk heterojunction architecture. External quantum efficiency measurements show that optimization short circuit current density requires balancing photocurrent contributions absorption fullerene aggregate absorption, which is accomplished by control ratio. Chloroindium (ClInPc):C 60 be capable near-IR promising power conversion efficiencies open voltages excess 1 V.
