摘要: Abstract An analysis has been developed for the Ballistic Mortar test based on classical mechanics and a two stage chemical reaction rate model. Non-ideal behaviour of composition was modelled by partial energy release during detonation phase secondary exothermic processes expansion phase. Erosive grain burning time delayed reactions were both considered. Gas loss from mortar cavity due to leakage included. Predicted performance several ideal non-ideal explosives in good agreement with experimental values. The effects slow incomplete compositions have demonstrated, it shown that measurement throw angle alone is insufficient determine composition. model used elucidate Ammonium Nitrate Aluminium commercial explosives.
