摘要: The axolemma membrane forms a stable and reproducible monomolecular layer at the air-aqueous interface. major lipids proteins are present in this monolayer molar ratios similar to original membrane. Acetylcholinesterase Na-K-ATPase activities preserved levels of 64% 25%, respectively. total lipid fraction homogeneously mixed phase. presence introduces surface inhomogeneties. Among other features, is revealed by two values lateral pressure which shows partial or collapse: broad collapse pressures between 13 30 mN/m sharp point 46 mN/m. average molecular areas, point, variation potential per molecule suggest relocation protein components behavior consistent with extrusion exposure toward aqueous medium that depends on pressure. Schwann cells grown coverslips coated monolayers (beginning collapse) 34 (above recognize difference organization caused affects their proliferation, morphology, spatial pattern organization. Our results show for first time response Schwann intermolecular they interact. These local expression putative molecules may mediate recognition signalling morphological proliferative changes can be modulated long range supramolecular properties. © 1993 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
