摘要: Die Nutzung der Beatmung erfolgte uber Jahrzehnte hinweg uberwiegend in Anasthesie und Notfall- bzw. Intensivmedizin, also als Therapie unter stationaren Bedingungen am intubierten Patienten. Tausende von Fallen mit Poliomyelitis, aber auch Patienten pulmonalen neuromuskularen Erkrankungen sowie Kyphoskoliose wurden bei respiratorischer Insuffizienz langfristig beatmungspflichtig. Neben negativen Druckbeatmung sog. Tankrespiratoren v. a. Frankreich die Langzeitventilation durch Tracheostoma mittels positiver ambulanten Bedingungen.
